FeedMySheep

After Christ was risen from the dead and as this was the third time Jesus had showed himself to the desciples and having arranged for a dinner gathering; which after they had eaten he said to Peter (who had previously denied him three times) "Lovest thou me more than these?".  This he said to Peter three times and when Peter answered "yes, Lord" each time; he said "Feed my sheep" and finally "Follow me".

Feed My Sheep Meeting
Mary Wilkerson is graciously directing this Community Outreach program sponsored by the ABUNDANT LIFE WORSHIP CENTER.  Sister Mary conducted a meeting of those having interest in the FEED MY SHEEP program on November 6, 2011 at 4:30 pm as was previously announced to the congregation from the pull-pit.

At this meeting, Sis Mary stated the program's goal this Thanksgiving holiday season is primarily directed toward the senior citizens and less fortunate in the community. Our goal is to provide fifty bags of assorted items to those in need. She also stated that there were some items yet to be purchased for stock; but that all items should be procured before Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 3:00 pm when we are to gather for packaging the distribution bags or boxes.

The date of November 20, 2011 has been chosen for distribution; either by delivery or pick-up, according to the list of names that is currently being compiled.

January 8, 2012:  Bro Tommy announced that the "Feed My Sheep" program of Abundant Life Worship Center had received several donations from outside ALWC's congregation in support of our community outreach program.  The Holy Scriptures tell us not to hide our light under a bushel but to set it on a hill so that it may be seen as a beacon and draw "whosoever" is willing to come (this is my paraphrased interpretation).
I believe "Feed My Sheep" has great potential in our local community but is subject to supporters of the program as these are moved by God's Holy Spirit to provide the resources.

Sold Out Youth Ministries
